Dear Lily,

On behalf of the Therapeutic Recreation Department and the patients of the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, we would like to express our appreciation for your wonderful performance on the afternoon of December 8, 1996.

The joy and enthusiasm that was brought to the patients and their guests could be noted by the excitement and praise that followed your performance.  Everyone who attended, talked about it for days!

I would like you to know that not only was your performance entertaining, but it was therapeutic to all who attended.  In this day and age, it is not often that people give so freely of their time and of themselves.  It is people like yourself who make unpleasant situations tolerable for our patients and their families.
